The Movement at Christian Academy of Knoxville had a fundraiser this last semester for an organization called Sixty Feet. Sixty Feet “was started from a desire to participate in God’s work in remand centers in Uganda. Our mission is bringing hope and restoration to the imprisoned children of Africa in Jesus’ name.” They have several different programs that help meet the immediate needs of the children in remand centers in Uganda, and to provide long-term restoration. Sixty Feet has a program called “Cupcake Kids” that allows kids to get involved in what they are doing, and help raise money for them. CAK’s Movement Club did a similar cupcake sale for Sixty Feet, and this was what club president, Andrew Crouch had to say about it:

“ It was amazing to me how, when I finally gave up trying to make everything perfect and just did my best to organize a cupcake sale fundraiser, things fell into place and my Club bonded more than ever before…because I needed them, and together we killed it…or baked it at least. :)”
